Default v8 SWAP INTO S10

I have my very large 1995 s10 blazer, and I have a ls1(lq4) 5.3 out of a 2007 chevy 1500, anyone done one of these swaps or have any info on it? I have dana 44's frt and rear with 4:56's with 33's my 4.3 is a big sluggish and my 33's are too small so i am goin 35's or 37's so i am debating on whether its worth doin or not or just doin upgrades to my 4.3

any thoughts on this?

I'm considering swapping the 4.3L vortec V6 in my 96 4dr, does anyone know if its a worthwhile expense?
I don't mean $$$ wise, I mean functionality, is the power any better? Does it effect 4wd?
Is fuel consumption a major issue? Etc etc etc? I'm curious because the price of a crate engine
Isn't horrible, and I'd like to get more than 200Hp out of mine. Any leads are welcome, but direct
Experience with this scenario is preferred, as that will be more solid "proof in the pudding" lol.

Since you have a SFA its gonna be a rather easy swap. You won't have to worry about trimming nearly as much on the oil pan to make it fit. You can do it more like a 2wd swap. Just make sure that dana 44 isn't gonna tuck up and hit the oil pan.

Grey Wolf, start your own thread and don't hijack somebody elses.
