Have you tried to clean the MAF sensor? Some one please correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think the secondary air system will have a negative impact on performance.

The AIR system, or air injection, is used for emissions. It re-starts the burn to burn the HC and heat up the cat at cold start up mostly. No negative impact on driveability. Like 50lb cat said start with cleaning the MAF, don't touch the resistor's directly. If that doesn't help I would check 02 sensor output, idk if there narrow or wide band on the pre-cat. Should be dithering below 100mv and above 900mv for a healthy sensor. Next I would check fuel pressure KOEO, then key off and it should maintain pressure for a few minutes. GL!

Try unplugging the MAF sensor. If it runs better then you need to clean the wires inside the maf with some maf sensor spray cleaner. Don't touch the wires!
