01 Blazer won't start in the cold

My 2001 Blazer won't start when its below freezing outside. At first I thought it was my battery connections so I changed my battery cable when it warmed up for a day. Of course the car started and I thought the problem was solved. The car sat over the weekend and when I got back to it Sunday nite it wouldn't start. I pulled the distributor cap and rotor and the cap did have some corrosion so I replaced both and the car didn't start til a couple days later, when it warmed up.
I've been doing some research online and found that I'm not the only one with the problem. The site I found charges to give you the solution and I don't wanna pay cuz it's not guaranteed to fix it. Here's the info and link I found
ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE:GASOLINE
TSB #33 -- CUSTOMERS MAY COMMENT THAT VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH A 4.3L ENGINE MAY EXHIBIT A CLICK / NO START CONDITION IN COLD WEATHER, BUT STARTS AFTER REPEATED KEY CYCLES OR WHEN THE TEMPERATURE RISES ABOVE 32 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT. *TT (NHTSA ID #619226, MARCH 01 2001)

Has anyone else had this problem? How do I fix it? What do I fix? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Does the engine turn over when you turn the key and just won't start? Cause if so thats usually a good indication of a weak spark. Also becasue it is below freezing you could have some water in your gas lines that is freezing. Typically the ignition coil is the problem with the spark, for the water throw a bottle of dry gas in the next time you fuel up. If that doesn't work ohm out your ignition coil to see if it's bad.

Sorry for the delay I've been working some crazy hours this week. The engine does turn over and almost starts but just won't start completely. It feels like 1 or 2 cylinders fire but the rest don't follow. Would a bad ignition coil show any warning signs?

Not typically, or so I have experienced, they slowly die and people don't pay attention when it takes that one extra second to start. If you know how ohm out the ignition coil.

i had the same prob with my 02 blazer..it was cold out n when i would turn the key once and it made one clunk and tht was it..

well another possible cause of this problem is the "Coolant Temperature Sensor". Essentially this sensor monitors the temp of the coolant and when its cold it tells the computer to make the fuel/air ratio increase to add more gas to the cylinder.

I've never had to ohm out an ignition coil before but I'm sure I can do it. If U could give me some tips on how to get started or an overview.
