02 crank..crank..nothin....
 

my 02 jimmy 4.3l keeps cranking and cranking and wont turn over. the battery is now hooked up to a solar panel to keep it going ($10 at Canadian tire this week)
it has been sitting since the winter, fuel stabilizer was added.
i did manage to get her to fire up a couple weeks ago after 1hr of cranking it...really surprised i didnt burn out the starter but that isnt my main concern right now. that day after i got it fired up i let it run for a while sounded good, shut it down and it would fire back up just like she was bran new... but now nothing. also had a wicked backfire and she poured smoke out the intake like ive never seen, i thought my hid ballast caught fire at first lol

any help appreciated. also how hard is it to do the plugs on this beast? ive done plugs on many cars before but my caddy is much easier, i can see where im trying to get at.
