The engine cooling fan is a self contained thermo-viscous clutch fan with no external control so as I said, the computer has no control over it. It locks up when the air passing over the clutch gets hot.

Threw a new EGR on it, it is better, smoother at idle for sure and slightly smoother as the rpms go up.. but seems to lack alot of power and has slight miss still. Never drove truck before, but throttle response and overall power should be better I think.
Ran codes again and got 32 and 34. Wondering if I should get a new MAP sensor and try that.
Owner of vehicle coming tomorrow to pick it up. Kinda glad to be getting it out of my garage, but would love to have it running good as can be expected for him.
Any help is much appreciated!

Took the truck in to an exhaust shop and they said the cat was good, next door was a repair shop and I had a diagnostic test run for $65 there. I didnt know they could see all the things they can on these older obd1/1.5 cars... Anyway, turns out #2 and #4 arent getting fuel=new spider, yay [:@]
Any helpful tips or hints needed for installing it would be much appreciated.

there is a walkthrough on this site for it (cut off due to a server hack several months ago) swart was working on redoing it but has not had time to finish yet but in the meantime I put one on our sister site you can check it out Here (original on this site is linked to also as that was a source I used, proper credit where it is due and all)

Thank you very much Outsydr, that will be a big help.
Can you tell me if I need to buy the fuel feed and return lines separately from the spider.. are the fuel lines whats called the "nut kit" and that is a separate part from the spider unit or is it all in one?

Ahh answered my own question, just needed to look at that page a bit more.
Will an Autozone or other local parts type place carry the nut kit usually?
Thanks again for the help.

NAPA usually carries the nut kit, both with and without the support bracket (it's cheaper without, so if your bracket & screw are in good shape, get it without).
