1996 S10 blazer misfire
 

I have a misfire in my 1996 Chevy blazer 4.3. It also has a knock as well, lifters were replaced in November. Then recently plugs and wires. The misfire is in cylinder number 5, it also has low compression in that cylinder. Any suggestions on what it might be? Could it possibly be a bent or burnt up valve, it also losses power in the high rpm range, but has all the power it should down at low rpms.

found the problem loose rocker on the number 5 cylinder

Turned out to actually be a bent push rod. Hope this helps someone maybe in the same situation.
