1997 4.3 No start...No Spark....PLEASE HELP!
Alright. So Ive been doing ungodly amounts of research. Here is my Problem. I sold My Co-worker my 1997 Chevy Blazer 4wd. It had been in the family for over a year and never had a problem, one day about 3 days after i sold it to him he was driving over a speed bump and it died, cranked it 3 times and it finnaly went and no more problems he was leaving the store and it died again, took 10 trys but finnaly went then he parked it went inside came out the next day and no go. I replaced the fuel pump no go. Then i decided to check for spark and didnt have any. So i tryed a new ICM, Coil pack and Crank sensor, still no go. What else can it be???? Can an ECM go bad? Please help as i really want to get this damn thing fixed......

Sounds like a bad connector... I would check the ICM connector, crank sensor connector, and the coil connector. With him hitting a bump and doing this it sounds like a short... have you checked for any trouble codes? It is also possible to get a new coil or ICM that is faulty I've had it happen to me plenty over the years. http://easyautodiagnostics.com/gm_icm_test/gm_icm_diagnostic_1.php check that site it will help tremendously on getting out fixed.
