1999 Chevy Blazer 4.3L build questions

im wanting to upgrade my cam(Lunati 262) and valve springs(350 springs). iv heard that i have auto timing but i have never heard of this . so my question is if i change my cam valve springs and lifters. i will have the internals of the motor completely balanced . heads shaved cylinders bored. this being said will i run into any issue with timing or any other type of computer issues?

Not familiar with the camshaft you choose , however when choosing a cam there are certain parameters that need considering , like what rpm band the cam works well in , will you be able to operate in the band with your rear end gearing & what rpms does the highest vacuum levels operating . Some cam cards will give instructions on what engine timing is best . Do you have a auto trans , or a manual trans ? The auto trans can be less forgiving without changing the torque converter

In the last six years, I bet OP has either done the cam, or given up on it...
