2003 Chevy Blazer 2wd Oil Pan Gasket Issues...

I Am Replacing The Oil Pan Gasket On A 2003 Blazer 2wd. I Have Followed The Directions From Numerous Sites. But Still Cant Get The Pan To Drop. I Have Removed All 11 Bolts. The Problem Is As Always Is Clearence. I Dont Have Enough Room To Drop The Pan And Pull It Out.

Has Anyone Done The Oil Pan Gasket. If So Can You Please Help Me Out.

I Have Already Tried To Unbolt The Motor Mounts And Pull The Motor Upwards. Our Next Mission Is To Drop The Transmission And Attempt To Get It Out That Way.

So If Anyone Has Any Suggestions Please Feel Free To Help Me Out.

Is the pan loose yet (did it drop any?) You might have that pesky "surprise" bolt holding it. You know the one nobody tells you about.
Remember the oil pickup sits way down in the deepest part of the sump and you have to get it past the tray in the pan.
Did yoi pull your dipstick out? I've see them catch on stuff and cause all kinds of headaches.
You must be ckose to hitting your distributor against the firewall (if it's a V6.
I don't have any tips for you other than these food for thought items. I always thought that any manual told you to pull the engine to remove the pan but am not familiar with an '03.

I Have The Pan Dropped. All The Bolts Are Out. We Were Trying To Get Enough Room So We Could Take Out The Oil Pickup Pump. I Guess We Are Gonna Disconnect The Motor From The Trans And Pull It Out Partially.

All I Know That If It Was My Vehicle I Would Sell It As Is Right Now.
