350 with a 4L60E transmission
i have a 91 blazer & i wanted to know will a 350 motor bolt up to my 4L60E transmission... or should i put a 4.3 back in?
yeah they have the same bellhousing. so technically it will bolt up i just dont know what it takes to work properly, like what fly wheel you need and any kinda computer issues or stuff like that.
I dont think they were electronically controlled in 1991. a 4L60
Yeah I believe you should have a 4L60 with a kickdown cable rather than the 4L60e which diata already noted as the electronic version. If that's the case and you are trying to mount a carbureted 350 to it you should be ok as long as you hook up the kick down cable. Like big said you may need a different flywheel and possibly torque converter. If you do indeed have the e then you will need a newer injected motor and computer programming and such to get it all to play nice. Do some searching online and you will find alot!

You should be good as the electronic version didnt come out till 92,You will need a flywheel from 91 trans to work also.
