So far I haven't heard anything bad about Jasper motors.........

Hell at this point I have to much in it not to put one in. It's a 95 4x4 with 170,500 miles and it has just about everything I want done to it. Even my favorite color... ( see my pics -http://www.bstcomputers.com/blazer/blazer.html ).

About two years ago I put a new tranny in it and they guy I know put high pressure o-rings and a corvette servo in it. Not sure what they do but when the motor was running good it would lock in real solid and usually chip gears between first and second with ease... No more of that slipping hesitation crap between gears like most automatic trannys. The only thing that sucks is the 100mph speed limitor.

Last summer I put in all new front end parts (upper and lower ball joints, idler arm, steering stabalizer shock, front shocks, rotors and calipers) I think thats about everything... Also put in a rear end, egr, fuel regulator (yes the expesive part), altinator, water pump, computer.

Whats left to replace... LOL It has no rust either... Most people don't realize the dam thing is 10 years old...

The best part of the whole thing is................................................ ........................

I own it and the bank dosen't! LOL

Jasper is a VERY reputable company. You never heard of them? Theyre HUGE...at least around here. Naw, theyre huge everywhere. Well, either way, if I was in your situation...id drop an ls1 in there...most definatly.
