4L60E torque intermittent in 4th gear
Dear All, i am located in Germany and 4L60E tranmission shops are rare to find. A needle in the heastack.
I did not drove my Blazer very rarely in wintern time. Now it makes trouble in 4th. gear. Normally @50mls it has about 1800 rpm. When I run at this speed suddenly it īmake bang for ms. and you get scared. It looks like the drivetrain torque power gets intermittent for some ms. Like the supply or ground on the valve body is intermittent. Which solenoid is responsible for a short shutter. TCC PWM solenoid or the TCC Solenoid. My idea was to disable the solenoid to identify what path the error come from. I have a GM Mongoose Pro. What test shall I ran to identfy what the issue is for this gear shudder. BR Bob |
If it works somewhat in 4th, the throttle position sensor can cause it. If thats not it the tcc lockup might be bad.
Id change : tps tcc solenoid pwm speed sensor. No fix? probably more damage in the trans. Good luck. Our stuff overseas is hard to deal with. help it helps. |
How do you diagnose such failure mode with a tech2.
I tried to disable the TCC SOLENOID but could not deactivate it. |
How can I disable the TCC with GM GM Tech2?
