4L60E Tranny

Hello All. First post here for me. Tranny going quickly. Only have 1st 3rd and Park. No reverse etc. Now I have located a tranny for $300 and one with transfer for $350. Both have about 175 kilometers on them, (I am Canadian, eh, lol). In the interest of best solution, which one should I get and which would be easier to swap in my garage. Thank you. LevernC

Is the transfer case the same model as yours? If not then it won't really do you any good to spend the extra $50. There are several different transfer case options depending on year and OEM options.

"The tranny is with transfer case,it is 4l60e for push button 4x4 it has 172,000 kms." is the info I have right now. It is for sale as s10 parts. Do not know year?

The other is a 2000 tranny from a wrecker.

With this info, does that change anything?

Thank you

Yeah you have to know the year as they are not all compatible. What year is your rig?

LevernC 11-06-2013 02:03 PM
