5speed pops out of 1st gear

5speed pops out of 1st gear

I have an 85 s10 blazer with 2.8 5 speed. The transmission keepsjumping out of 1st gear. It is actully pretty hard to hold in 1st. I was wondering if this was a shifter problem, or a syncronizer problem.Other gears seem to work good.

Offhand, I would guess the synchro, and [sm=welcomesign.gif]to the Forum.
