Default 700R4 on transfer case?

Hello all, I have a 75 K5 blazer that's basically been put back to stock but with the Turbo 350 and 3.73 gears it tends to get in the high rpm range with that setup. What kind of trouble am i looking at with putting a 700r4 in this thing to make it cruise a little better? Will the stock transfer case bolt up to that tranny or will I have to get a later model transfer case? Thanks

Default RE: 700R4 on transfer case?

I'd get the t-case on the back of the 700R4 tranny. Then you know it will bolt up.
You will also need a torque converter lock up kit, Summit Racing and a host of other plasces sell it. If you find a truck like yours to get the tranny and t-case from, you might get lucky and be able to use the driveshafts, if not you may need to get your altered to fit. The 700R4 is about 2" longer then the TH350. See if you cna get the tranny cross brace off the donor truck too.
