Default '89 v6 into a '90 S10?

got a deal on a couple partially parted S10's,
a '90 that is complete but has a blown motor,
+ an '89 that has been wrecked in the front has been stripped [had a 5 speed] but has a strong motor
both v6's, I assume 4.3's?

is there any issues putting the '89 motor in the '90 with the 700r4
was there any difference in the wiring?
do I need the harness, from the 89?
or can't I just use the wiring already in the 90 on the 89 motor?
I suppose I could use the intake/injectors from the blown '90 motor on the '89??

I ask because I'm not sure how much of the wiring is left on the '89...

any thoughts / advice would be greatly appreciated,

I'm trying to put together a cheap driver for my sister-in-law who just got her liscense

First, they both need to be the 4.3L. If they are both TBI motors, then you should be a direct swap.
