Default 92 S10 Blazer, Radiator Needs Fixed, Help Please...

Hi All,

I never fixed my radiator in my truck before, and I would like to know if there is a better step by step way in getting to the radiator. I know you have to take the fan off then the plastic housing around the fan then the radiator, I believe they all come out at once, once all is unscrewed. If there is anything else that I may have missed let me know guys.

Thanks,

Gary

you shouldnt have to take the fan off unless its a one piece fan shroud. if you can unbolt the upper from the lower just pull the top one off.... heck even if it is a one piece you should be able to just unbolt the fan shroud from the body and slide it back a inch or so. the radiator is only bolted on the top. its pretty easy. just drain fluid, disconnected upper and lower radiator hose along with overflow hose, trans lines and oil lines if you have them, move fan shroud outta the way and take off upper clamps holding it on and itll come right out. of course try not to band the new one on the fan while putting it back in
