92 Typhoon Engine Removal
 

Hey Guys. First off, yes I've done searches... But my question to some more seasoned guys. On the square body blazers and jimmys 4x4 4.3 removal, everything says pull the X-fer Case and Trans to get the engine out. Has Anyone tried unbolting the front diff from the frame and dropping it down some to give enough clearance for the oil pan? Will it give enough or am I poking at a dead horse and just have to bite the bullet and pull the trans?
