Hey guys, well my 94 S15 has had this problem for a while but I didn't bother doing much about it... I'll explain why later. Well when the engine is cold, some loud banging sound is coming from somewhere underneath the hood ONLY when the transmission is in reverse AND the steering wheel is turned to one direction (either left or right). This usually happens when backing out of a parking spot, it starts making that God awful noise after I move a couple feet. However the noise stops the instant I take the transmission out of reverse. The banging is pretty rapid too, like 3 or 4 bangs per second (sorry if that sounds dirty XD). It's been doing this for over a year (maybe longer) but the only reason I didn't do anything about it was because I made a habit of backing into parking spaces (makes for a quick escape lol), where the engine is already warm from driving. Any help would be great. Thanks! And if it makes a difference, the gauges seem normal and no check engine light is on.

Oh and I meant to add that I'll try to make a video of the problem tomorrow and I'll post up the youtube link.
