95 4.3 Blazer PWM

Is it possible for my late 95 blazer to have a pwm trans in it that is interchangable with 96 - 97???? It appears to be a full OBD2 systm with the vcm on top of coolant tank. Are the valve bodies differant/ interchangable with any year? Thanks Agian........Mike

There were other things that changed in '96 that make going back and forth difficult. I'm not sure if the valve body could be swapped from a '95 to a newer trans. It is very likely that your transmission uses the PWM TCC circuit.

well

Well according to the wring diagrams I got from all data it is a pwm tcc setup. What do you think of Staking the PWM valve to only use tcc on / off instead of pwm? from what I read its easy to do and porlongs the life of the TC. My only issue is the locking/unlocking of the TC in the 45 - 55 mph range. Found staking on google with PICS!

Thanks mike
