96 blazer weird fuel issue

first off i'm new to the whole blazer thing and it seems these trucks have lots of issues unlike my usual jeeps but i got a good deal on a blazer so............. I have read all the other threads on this issue but none of them seem to fit my issue here it goes truck was starting fine then one day it started cranking longer .... and longer until one day no start sprayed some starting fluid in it and it started , so i checked fuel pressure 59 - 60 psi but did bleed off 4 psi after pump shut off. So i replaced the fpr now after like 5 to 6 cranks it will start on its own as it didn't before , so it did help a little. But when checking fuel pressure after fpr change i noticed some of the fuel was white like it was mixed with water or compressed air but like i said it does run with alot of cranks now. I just would like some of your opinions as where you guys have alot more experience with these rigs , i'd hate to buy a new fuel pump ($250) and the time to drop the tank, figures its 3 quarter full right now lol

What was the fuel pressure, key-on, engine-off? If you turn the key on and off several times, waiting for the fuel pump to shut off each time the key is in the on position, does it make any difference?

RE: 96 blazer weird fuel issue

the fuel pressure with key on engine off was 59psi and the funny thing is priming it before fpr replacement did not work now with new fpr it does after about 4 times , but definatley not enough to trust the truck lol
