Wisco Blazer will become famous soon enough
Default Slight jerk from 1st to 2nd

Not an urgent issue just wondering if my blazer is unique or all blazers do this...

I had a 1999 chevy blazer and it always seemed to jerk a little from 1st to 2nd, but i got rid of it a while ago.

Now I have a 2000 chevy blazer 4x4 and its seems to do the same thing, just a little jerky from shifting from 1st to 2nd, im at 100k miles and this spring i will be putting in all new plugs and wires and flushing the tranny and new trans filter.

Also, it definantly is more noticeable when the engine temp is cold. But it is still there a bit when its up to the standard operating temp.

Any ideas or input would be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance. =)

My 1995 Chevy S10 Blazer do the sputtering like it isn't getting enough or too much fuel. The RPM bounce 100-200 from where it running on. It only do when I am going 40-50 mph. Is this the same problem you have too?

Mine doesn't really sputter at those kinds of speeds, it stumbles just a hair when trying to get up and go at like 10-30 mph(hoping its the spider injectors and not the fuel pump), it almost seems as if mine hesitates just for a split second to shift. My throttle response is god awful slow though.

Hope it isn't fuel pump either. I just installed a fuel pump and fuel filter in mine so hope it isn't your problem.
