Default 97 blazer tranny codes/shift problems

i have a 97 blazer. Im getting these codes- p0740,p0753,p0758,p0785,p1860.
these are tranny shift solenoid codes and ive read other users that have had the same problems. how hard is it to change the solenoids? i also read that the ignition switch could be the culprit on a 97 and not the solenoids. as a blazer owner im noticing that they all seem to have the same basic issues i.e ( oil cooler lines, cooling, shift solenoids. ) i dont want to buy all the solenoids and put them in if its the ignition switch and i dont want to work on the switch if its the solenoids. anyone have any advice or some good general knowledge about this as to what i should do and what i should work on first.

Default

P0740 - Torque Converter Clutch Circuit
P0753 - Shift Solenoid A Electrical
P0758 - Shift Solenoid B Electrical
P0785 - Shift Timing Solenoid
P1860 - TCC PWM Solenoid Circuit

You can also use the search function to bring up threads where others have had one or more of these codes and possibly what they did to fix it.

With that many transmission codes, there is bound to be a common problem. The ignition switch does play a roll in things and there have been other people that have found this to be the root cause of some transmission problems.
