98 blazer 4x4 tranny issue

i replaced my tps thinking that was the issue.... wrong... here's the symptoms: started 2 days ago "jumping" from 1st to second (automatic tranny) then today it started grunting and then wouldnt allow me to go over 15mph and it was revving at 4k rpm. i luckily made it home.... im at a loss now... i checked my tranny fluid its correct color and level but smells like burnt rubber. my rad fluid was love so filled... rad cap smells like spoiled fish... so stressed... any help would be appreciated

Is the ABS light coming on?

I think your tranny is slipping you could change the fluid and filter possibly flush and see if that solves your problem

Jaylo was asking you a question about your ABS.
Not sure if you followed up.

I had the same symptom.

Read this link and check your VSS sensor.
