Default 99 4.3 running on 3 cylinders

I popped the motor in my blazer a few months ago and replaced the motor with a used donor motor out of the junk yard. The yard destroyed the distributer pulling the motor out of the wrecked truck ( a 98 ) . While utting the motor in my Jimmy I turned the crank with out the distributer in the motor. I put motor on TDC # 1 , put rotor button at 6 on dist. and dropped it in . I'm running on 3 cylinders ( 1,5,and 2) . I'm getting spark to all six and compression is good in all six.????? I replaced the following things with new or stuff off of my motor that worked fine before the tear down:
cap
rotor
Dist.
plugs wires
Fuel spider
egr
coil

What am I missing , I have a mechanic friend who says is the ECM ????? I just keep thinking it's a timing issue........

Any help would be great

Yep, did that and I'm 100% sure that I'm TDC , checked recheck and rechecked again.

I'm going to put it on a snap on cumputer int he morning and hopefully it will show something ........ I'll keep you posted .

Checked it today with the Snap on computer and it only showed one code and that was coolant temp sensor ... and that one is my fault . We checked all the injectors for pulse .... they are all getting power....

We are going to have a new ECM flash in the morning and see what happens ....

This thing is driving me nuts !!!!

Anyway, while it's down I'm buttoning up some of the build things that need completed , I mounted my 14" travel RC 2.0 shocks on the front today and made a set of custom shock towers.. Pics coming soon.
