99 blazer 4x4 four door, limp mode
 

i replaced the 1-2 solenoid last month hoping that would get rid of my problem, had it read at advanced auto parts and thats what came up, now month later had it read this morning and its the 2-3 solenoid thats coming up. and for that past couple days its been in limp mode meaning it wont go lower then 3 gear without manually shifting it to d1. then getting up to speed and back to drive, is the solenoid something that would force my truck into limp mode or not? and answer an insight would be great...

Yes, a bad 2-3 solenoid or a problem on the control circuit for the solenoid could cause your problems. You should drop the pan and inspect the internal wiring. Then measure the resistance of the solenoid (20-40ohms = good).
