Ac Compressor 1 hr till junk yard
 

Im about to drive 100 miles to a decent junk yard and I know the title says blazer forum. But I need some quick help and you guys have helped me before so I came back to the experts. My brother has an 03 sonoma with 4.3l vortec, would anyone know what other cars have the same A/C Compressor. I have to go get one cause the clutch locked up and snapped the shaft out of the compressor.

Any late model (97-05) s-10, blazer, jimmy, sonoma, astro, silverado or sierra with a 4.3 engine should have a SIMILAR compressor. They did have a couple different part numbers based on the pulley size, so take your old pully since it broke off anyway...to match it up and you should be fine. you'll need a 13mm socket, 15mm socket and a 3/8" drive ratchet.
