Default b&m shift plus...question - reviews?

is this the correct b&m shift plus...for 99?

i know a couple of threads mention it but this only goes to 98.

I wonder how well it works I am looking about buying for my '98 at either Vato zone or O'reilly's next week. How well does it work my tranny is in very good shape (no slip) and is the right RPO M30.

Straight from the product description...

For GM rear wheel drive and 4wd trans code MT1 or M30 (RPO code found on sticker in glove box) '93-'98 Suburban, Tahoe, Blazer (C/K, S/T), pickup (C&K) 1500, 2500, 3500, Impala, Camaro, Firebird & '94-'98 Corvette.
Although I am not familiar with computer systems on these trucks, I thought there was no change in 98-99. Seems like it was 97-98.. but once again I'm not the one to really give a solid answer. I'd just follow the instructions given by the product's company.

yeah, thats what i thought....just wondered if anyone had success "bending the rules" on this one....i will double chk the rpo codes. hard to tell when they stretch a model as far as they did with the blazer.

Ive seen a few people that have it on there 99+ blazers. The connectors are different but the wiring is still the same. I believe there was a how to on s10forum.com. They were putting it on a 2000 and 2001. i'll have to see if i can find it. Put I know it can be done.
