Default Belt squeaking noise. Please help!!

I have a belt squeaking noise that I can't get rid of. I have replaced the tensioner, idler pully, and belt and the noise persists. If I spray a little bit of WD-40 on the belt or any I the pulleys it goes away for a few minutes. After a few minutes it goes away at idle but as soon as I rev up it comes back and gets louder with higher rpm.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Try removing the belt and checking each component the belt runs on. Anything other than easy to rotate and smooth turning will create noise.

I did that and everything felt fine. I have a gmc 1500 that runs perfectly and has a very similar belt/accessory configuration and both vehicles look almost exactly the same. All the pulleys on both vehicles feel the same. I read online that it could be the power steering pulley coming loose but I don't know about that because nothing had any give to it and not a lot of resistance on any of the pulleys.

Maybe a small coolant leak? Antifreeze will make a belt squeaky.

Try a Goodyear gatorback belt. Sounds crazy but it'll work!!

I haven't noticed any leaks. And I've never heard of a gator back belt. I live in Alaska so I don't know if they are even sold up here

Other than the belt does anybody have any other ideas on what I should look at?

I was reading that it could be the power steering pully could be out of alignment with the rest of the pulleys. Anybody know of an easy way to fix this with simple tools or do i need to take it to a mechanic?

i have a squeaking noise from mine as well, all I did was worked around the turning pulleys squirting a little WD40 to see which one stopped squeaking after being sprayed, in my case it was the alternator / generator.

im now in the process of stripping it down to clean, repair and re-grease the bits.
