bigger engine easy fit?
 
So my step father was telling me about engines and that i could prolly take a 305 engine and stick it into my 1993 s10 4dr blazer thats is hooked to a 4.3 vortec easily??

can you really do this, and if so were would i find such an engine?

you can do a 305 or a 350, look for a 3rd gen camaro

If you have a TBI motor, the electronics are a cinch. You can drop any smallblock Chevy engine into your truck. A 350 would be a nice upgrade. With a CPI motor, you are looking at some wiring differences or you could just go carb'd, but that isn't an option for some given state inspections and all..

if your gonna put a v8 in it i would definantly put a 350 not a 305. it wouldn't be any harder and there is more power. but i would'nt go to a third gen i would get it out of a 60s car depending on your states emission requirements.
