Hello,

I have a question about my 95 Blazer. It has been garaged for the past two years. Got a new battery and some gas over the weekend and drove it about 45 miles. It drove ok on the highway. Once I got to the city lights it cut off on me twice but started right back up. As far as I remember the blazer had a lot of new parts put in a couple years ago. So what could be causing this. Old gas? Needs an oil change? or just the fact that it has not ran in a couple of years?

is it stalling when you stop or is it just randomly shutting off?

 

It was stalling when I stopped and kept it iin drive but in neutral it was ok. But today I went under the hood and added some oil and radiator fluid and now I dont have the problem at all. So I know I should go get an oil change and a flush maybe?

 

Yah the fact it hadnt ran in a few years those would probably be a good idea

 

I've been having the same problem on my 85, and I just refilled the radiator fluid and got an oil change, but it keeps stalling still. Are there any other reasons that would cause this?
