Default blazer quit today

my 2000 4dr 4x4 blazer has 106k miles on it
i went to visit my grandpa in the nursing home today
and it is on a four lane highway
well i was accelerating to get into the fast lane of the highway
and it just quit. it wouldnt start
i think it might be a fuel pump
its weird because i drive this car everyday of the year
and it has been driven everyday since 2001 when my dad bought it with 12k miles
but i havent driven it for the past two days because
my sister got a new car and shes been drivin me around in it
and all of a sudden i drive it today and it stops
kinda ironic how after the only 2 days i dont drive it
something goes wrong
i guess its jelous of my sisters new car lol

You have to verify your fuel pump theory with a fuel pressure test.

With a fuel pressure gauge... Check the Tech Article (DIY) section for the diagnostic procedure. The fuel pressure test port is behind the throttle body and to the driver side on the fuel feed line.
