Default Broke down tonite had to be towed...

Boo Hoo!!!!!!! Leaking antifreeze all over the damn place..... Its turns out after putting the pressure tester on it that the rec water pump install i did, the gasket on the pass side blew out!!! In all the years ive been fixin cars and have done plenty of water pumps ive NEVER had that problem... I was told that the thermostat that i put in may be too high in pressure Its a 195 deg temp which is exactly what i took out of it.. soooooooooooooo when i feel like fixin it i will... any thoughts on the temp of the thermo i have in it?????

The 195 thermostat should be no problem. I have no idea why the gasket blew out unless the bolts were not tight enough.

I dont see how that happened either but the water pump bolts are tight. I checked them
I have to get under it and find out where the rest of the water is coming out it looks like more that the gasket went out on me.. I`m thinkin freezeout plug

Felony, there are no freeze plugs on the back of the block. Here is a thread where I posted pictures. It was determined that the plugs that are on the back of the block are for the cam and the balance shaft in the picture shown.

How many freeze-plugs in my engine?
