Default Can't solve oil Leak

Just bought a 98 blazer with a pretty big oil leak. Seems to be coming from the oil pan, but cannot tell it's so tight in there.
Questions:
1) Is it possible to change the oil pan gasket without pulling tranny or otherwise? Please say yes.

2) The majority of the leak seems to be above the starter on the passenger side of the engine. What's above that? I looked at the valve cover, and while it's moist it's not leaking oil onto the exhaust manifold???

if its not the pan,its going to be the oil sending unit or valve cover gasket. nothing else on passenger side,MAYBE distributor gasket. but doubt it.

4wd.
It's so tight in there, I can't even get a hand wrench in there to tighten oil pan bolts.

just had a similar issue on my fullsize 90. ended up being my pcv system was clogged solid and not working, my intake gasket blew in the pass side back corner and was spewing oil out as that was the only place it could vent. left like a 3 inch puddle after 10 minutes of running.
