I replaced my fuel pump about 2 years ago and paid around $230 for it, but I get pretty good discounts at Advanced because I keep them in business. You should find them around the $250-300 range (on the AA website they're $265 for the most inexpensive Airtex.)

Research that brand and 'blazer' and you will see why. AC Delco or Delphi. Well worth the extra. And with the cost of them at jobber, I would reckon shop charge of $650 to $750 to be about right. Maybe $850 if they throw in a 2yr / 24000 warranty but that aint gonna happen with that brand mentioned. Frankly, I dont know cuz I bought Delphi at local for 389 and damn well couldnt afford a shop do it. |
I`m now in the middle of doing my fuel pump , it croaked two days ago,Mine is orig factory pump and it has 112,000 miles on it. The lowest price i found so far is on amazon.com for $230.00,,,, by doing this myself i`m sure i`m saving a ton of money now i can switch to Geico, lol
