continuous humming noise and slight vibration...
Okay guys. This has been going on for a couple months and haven't had time to do anything about it.
I have an 02 blazer, 2wd. The humming noise sounds like its coming from the front and the back to me, but buddies who ride with me say its from the front passenger side. It doesn't take a second to start doing this, as soon as you let your foot off the brake as soon as the tires make one full rotation it begins to make a grinding noise, then gradually starts into a really loud humming noise and vibration that you can feel on the floor board and the steering wheel. Also, it seemed like it was trying to pull to the driver side slightly too, which just started yesterday.
I had to buy new hub assemblies back in August of '08 from o'reilly auto parts and had them put on by a reputable mechanic, so I am hoping they aren't already going bad.
Anyone have ANY idea what this could be? hub assembly(ies)? u joints? rear end? This is my daily driver, so I have got to get this fixed asap and hopefully it isn't nothing major.
If anymore info is needed, I will do my best to provide it accurately.
