Coolant leak
I have a 96 blazer that is leaking coolant from somewhere in the back of the engine. When I tried burping the coolant system the coolant was leaking under the car from around the transmission. I have replaced the water pump and the t-stat. Any help?

The 4.3 is notorious for the intake leaking. It leaks out around the base on the intake and dribbles down the back of the block. |

Sounds like an intake manafold gasket repair. I did this repair twice. I posted a thread about the procedure and tips if you want to do it yourself! Check it out :)

check the steel tube that connects to the intake for the heater. The plastic retainer and rubber in there could be shot....it's a popular place to leak

Tore down and replaced the intake manifold gasket. Had a little trouble getting the distributor timing right but when I did it fired right up. No leak and she runs between 194 and 198/199 when hot. Thanks for the help.
