coolant rushing into my overflow when i turn off the engine

I'm having a lot of coolant rush into my overflow when I turn off my engine. I have replaced the radiator(about a year ago), LIM, and thought it was my thermostat which I just replaced. It is not running hot and I don't think I have a leak but I don't know what the problem is. I have seen Threads on here with the same problem except I can't find them any longer. Any help will be appreciated

Would air in the system cause this problem? If it was the water pump wouldn't it overheat? How much of an incline does the blazer have to be to burp the system?

I also flushed out my heater core this winter because I had no heat which worked but now I think there may be air in it. would this cause the same problem? anyone?

I think air in the system could cause this, try burping the system properly.

Also, there is an edit button on the original post if you have details to add if there are no responses.

Try burping the system.
To do this, jack up the passenger side of the truck, and take off the radiator cap, start the truck and let it run to operating temp. When you do this, turn the heat settings inside the truck to hot/heat.

here is a good walk through on how to burp it

Hey thanks for the info. I pressure test the system and there was a small hole in one of the heater core hoses(out flow) which was spraying on top of the engine and being blown off while I was driving it. So that is why I didn't see any puddles or drips. I will use the info to burp the system which I assume i'll have to do after I change the hoses. Thanks for your help
