Fuel filter??
I have a 2001 Blazer and it hesitates and sputters when I accelerate. Could this be the fuel filter? I would appreciate help.

Possbily, I had the same problem and it ended up being my fuel filter. It's only 9 bucks so it wouldn't hurt to change. When was the last time you changed it? They are very easy to change. I've heard from someone that a bad fan clutch could also cause this. I'm not sure if it's correct but how's your engine temp usually?

I just bought it a few months ago and I don't know anything. I am going to try changing the fuel filter first, when I figure out where it is and how to change it. What is a fan clutch? Thank so much, I appreciate it the help

That's what your fan clutch looks like. It's the piece that attaches to front fan. What you can do is rev the engine from under the hood and see how much blowback there is or have someone in the car hit the gas pedal real quick. There should be a little bit of a delay if the fan is clutch is bad. I replaced mine because my truck was overheating and it took about 30min to do and was only about 20 bucks I believe for the part at autozone
