98 blazer 4wd LS 125,000 miles, been sitting for 6 months
Has ABS and an auto tranny
Had plugs, wires, cap and rotor replaced professionally last week

Engine Codes per adv. auto parts:
P0300 (this code appeared twice within same reading)
C0227
C0226
P0135

Runs fairly well, with exception of a slight to moderate vibration when idling due to multiple misfire. Other unusual things is a somewhat lack of power and the oil pressure seems to bounce around more than it should

I dont need to know what each of the codes indicate, what I want to know is part numbers for the parts needed to correct the problems. I understand the P0300 could be due to multiple things so no specific parts for it, but how about the sensors? And for those who have actually corrected a P0300 what fixed it?

haha sorry i guess I prefer to be direct on forums,

anyways..what is the reason for the abs modulator valve, and what would you guess the labor time would be in regards to a shop estimate.?

Mod valve -Because you wanted the part # that would fix the prob. that'll likely fix it

The new hub will fix the abs sensor, The spider replacement will probably fix the missfire {because of the sitting for six months} unless you still have ignition problems or fuel supply problems
The new O2 will solve that unless it's wiring

Hi all, 2000 Blazer 4'3L 4X4, 125,000, Code 226 & 281, and no ABS light, it does not get drove very often, I put brakes on all 4 wheels, all new brake lines, front and back & brake hoses on the front a few months ago, a couple years ago the bearings went bad one front hub, don't know if the dealer replaced just the bearings or the hole hub, is there a way I can check the sensors, and or wiring trying to figure out which way to go ?

I'm sorry, but you do need to know what the codes indicate. They DO NOT indicate simply what part to replace. They DO indicate what system needs attention. Then YOU have to troubleshoot the system with the help of those willing on the forum... *steps off soap box*:icon_twocents:

Were the replacement parts AC Delco? Did you have the 0300 code prior to the parts being replaced? Where the codes reset after new parts were installed? What did the old plugs look like? Has anyone had the distributor completely out that it might be off a tooth? I'll let you answer those first;)

Wow! If only it was that simple as changing parts, then there would be no need for the diagnostic charts in the factory shop manuals. Why not ask Autozone, or the professional that screwed in your plugs for you.
