engine swap from 97 s10 blazer to 96 s10

i am thinking about buyin a 96 s10 but it has a shot engine and trans i was wondering does a 97 chevy s10 blazer 4.3 v6 vortec engine fit in a s10 blaer
both are 4wd if tht matters
