Default Fuelpump noise

Hi
I need your help, I was out driving today in my Blazer 1998, it was very hot 30 C' (celcius) about 86 Farenheit, and after 30 minuts the motor stoped. I have noticed the last couple of days that I have been driving with it, that the noise for the fuelpump were getting louder, and today this stop...
After the motor stopped I startet the motor and drove again, but only for 3 minuts then it stopped again, then I startet again and turned around and drove back home about 10 miles without any problems....
Does I have a loose contact on my fueltank, or maybee a fuelpump problem, or maybe a radiator problem...
I can hear the fuelpump when the motor is running is that normal?

From my experience a noisy fuel pump is the first signs of fuel pump failure. My guess is you are in need of a fuel pump. But to confirm check your fuel pressure, should be 60 PSI.

Default

i changed my fuel pump about last year and after that it made a loud whining noise all the time i just changed the fuel filter and it went away but it sounds like your fuel pump is going out you usually shouldnt let your car go below a quarter of a tank but if it keeps dying like that run it until it runs out of gas cause the fuel pump is alot easier to change when your tank is empty
