gettin frustrated help pleasee

Default gettin frustrated help pleasee

Ok on the back on the motor right beside the oil pressure switch is the knock sensor i think i got a 96 black and i got a motor from a 2000 jimmy but its different type its the one that has the bolt straight through and my 96 had the one that treads now the new 200 motor the holes to small for my old one what do i di to fix this do i need the knock sensor

As Kyle said in your earlier thread, it sounds like the motor you have is actually from a 2003 or later. You probably need a knock sensor for the correct year engine.

i talked to the guy from the local machine shop he said find anyhole on the black and put it where ever the old one fits and thats good enough soo its all good
