goin for the wtf factor updated (pictures)
ok so i scraped the tbi in the cpi's place and im goin with holley reman 4bbl carb cast intake out of a 1985 astro van and a stand alone dist i figure itll blow some minds when i pop the hood on 95 blazer and theres a chromed out carbed 4.3 yea i know it wont have the snappiness of the tbi or cpi but im not drag racin its my winter beater just and tow rig for quad and campin ect ect....still wouldnt mind ya'lls tips n tricks tho...i should have some pix this week end

cleaned it up a bit haha....im going to try and tuck hide and cut every thing i can....cus i want the old school under the hood look just so people do a double take....plus i only got 200 bucks in both blazers...so why not do somethin outa the norm???
all my donor parts (besides intake and carb off an astro van) came from a 1989 blazer with a bad frame and body
all going into a 1995 4 door blazer in good shape besides rusty bumpers bad door pin and a chipped window

I wouldn't use the Mr. Gasket dial type pressure regulator. We put a carbed 350ci in my freinds 95 c1500 and the regulator would go bad about twice a year. He now uses a Holley preset I don't know the part #, but it has lasted two years.

hmmm another good question for me to ask haha. will the hei dist fit??? i noticed there isnt much room in the 95....
i have yet to pull the vortec out....
does any one know if the ac cut out pulley can be made or should i just buy one....
again thanks for input every one... it keeps my head semi straight cus ive got a zillion ideas pullin me apart lol

i heard of another guy in OH who did the same thing. this will be intersting...i bet it will run a lot better than the way it was before... and it probably wont ever have a misfire like all these other trucks....

ok so after much research i found its better to buy the ac cut out pulley heard to many horror stories about homemade stuff failing......
only prob i have is why in the hell would they make so the belts just and inch and a half smaller but ohwell it gets the ac pump out my way and thats the look im goin for....
