help!!!

my transmission wont come out of 1st gear when driving. i put in a new speed sensor but the speedometer doesnt work and and when u let off the gas it acts like its not in gear. any thoughts or help would be appreciated

Sounds like you're on the right track. It could be that the connector is dirty or there is a short somewhere. I believe the ECM only receives a 5V signal so any loss will affect it.
