Help! 95 blazer problems

Hi, I have a 95 blazer, 4 dr, 2wd 4.3 vortec engine. Recently it has started to chug when i accelerate after 43 mph, and higher. It only chugs when I am pushing the gas pedal, and stops when i take my foot off the gas. The chugging doesn't last the entire time I am on the gas pedal, sometimes it occurs one time for that period, sometimes it is more like 10 chugs. But happens everytime I get up to 43 mph and higher. Just 2 days ago I was driving on the freeway and my gas pedal got stuck to the floor, like it had collapsed or something. I had it taken to the mechanic, they cleaned the throttle body and said they believe the carbon build up was causing the throttle to stay open. They also did a tune up, wires plugs, and caps. When i got my blazer back today, I started driving it and it still is chugging after I get to 43 mph, and I am afraid the throttle is going to stick again. I am going to take it back to the mechanic but I can't afford to have them keep fixing things and it not be the issue. I know that I probably need a transmission flush, but can't afford it if that is not the chugging issue. Please help! All comments are appreciated! Thanks :)
