Before I rip this dash off my truck, I just want to make sure I'm changing the right thing? I can smell coolant inside my blazer. There is no sign of it leaking nor does the windshield steem up. It just smells. I hate the smell of coolant is is the second worse smell in the world(gear oil is worse LOL)
Again just want to make sure i'm changing the right part
thanks

Hey HFX, I just did mine. I had the same symptoms. It smelled when it ran, but it did not "fog" up the windows when the heat was on. I changed it for the smell reason and because I didnt want it to develop into a huge problem while I was driving. I know its a pain, but I would go ahead and change it out. Then you will know for sure that your core is good. Good luck.

Thanks Radman. Ya i may as well change it. so far i had to change the rad, intake gaskets, and all new hosw clamps so i may just bit the bullit and change the core.
When you changed yours did the smell go away?
