Default Help!! Do i need jaspanese hands to replce spark plug wires??

95 blazer, gotr new wires and I have never seen a more ****ed up routing with all the clips and all, I'm gonna re-route them straighter this time to keep them away from all the heat sources but is there things I should move to do this? This is freakin CRAZY!! I have two wires off now that fell apart and I cant get the new ones in!!

Are you having problems on the spark plug end or the distributor cap end?

I've taken the cap off before and get it up on top of the intake where I can get to it.

Both ends- that has got to be the most over loomed wires I have ever seen. Granted the last car I worked on was my 71 Z/28 but really? I can see they were trying to tuck everything in but thats rediculous. Now I get why replacement wires are re-routedI just called a mobile mechanic to do it for me, guess my days of wrenching are over...

How did you get the cap past all that crap at the back? I could barely get my hands in there

Do one at a time by releasing all the clips first, pulling one wire off and matching up new to old by length first. Plugs and plug ends are easy to reach and pull by going through the front wheel wells above the tires and lifting the rubber flap out of the way.

the way you're going on about doing the wires, which really aren't that hard-and i've got big hands, i can tell you never got to #3 cylinder.

then you woulda been bitchin' for a week, for sure! (again, that plug isn't that hard either)
