Help with engine oil cooler hose
 
I have a chevy blazer 98 4x4 it has leaks from the engine oil cooler hose from the bottom of the radiator just wanted to check if thats the name of the hose and is it hard to reace it?

there are 2 oil cooler lines. the one going from the filter to the radiator is the easy one. the one going from the filter to the block is, (and I recommend you not doing this) my neighbor is the head of a local chevy dealership and he had to lift the engine, (yes) to get mine done. if you tackle the filter to the radiator remember the copper clips on the fittings. if they're not on right you'll know right away when you start the engine up. please remember the fittings that bolt on the radiator are aluminum and be careful when you turn them. if the hose is what's leaking I suggest NOT taking off the fittings on the radiator and just pull off the copper clips and the hose just pulls out of the fitting. good luck.

If it's the lines mounting on the block, u can get them out fairly easily.....all u need is a jack and a block of wood under the oil pan and jack the motor up slightly they will come right out!!:icon_hyper: no need to remove motor mount bolts u just need about a 1/2in to get them out:icon_hyper:
