Default HELP! Are there any good additives for old fuel?

I am not a mechanic and I have minimal tools. I am trying to get a 1995 S10 Blazer going that sat for 11 years. Someone is helping me who knows more than I do. Unfortunately, the car was started, and it ran for a total of about a half hour, without pulling the plugs and adding oil, or changing any of the fluids, including the gas (tips that I have seen online since.) The fuel filter was changed. The car actually ran pretty smoothly once it warmed up, and it didn't seem to be smoking at all. When shut off, it would start right back up by just turning the key. There is between 3 and 4 gallons in the tank. How bad is it to run the rest of this bad gas through the engine? Where the car is located, it would be difficult to drop the gas tank to siphon the fuel, and my helper isn't willing to try, even though this would be best. It needs to be towed, not trailer-ed so he wants the engine on for power steering and brakes (road is really bad). Should I insist on dropping the tank or figure out how to do it myself? Or, are there any "really good" additives that would help? How much will an additive help? What about fuel injector cleaner? Someone online suggested adding some high octane gas to the old gas? Will this help? HELP!!! We will be going out today 11/7/14
